A growing lower middle market, made-to-order manufacturer and online retailer approached MMS to immediately assist them in the following areas:
- Identify and recommend an ERP solution and vendor to reduce existing applications, consolidate and automate business processes, and provide a scalable system to keep pace with the client’s rapid growth
Our Approach
Met with key stakeholders to identify the client’s current requirements and business processes
- Created a requirements document and business process maps to align a solution with clients needs
- Conducted primary and secondary market research, utilizing industry benchmarks including Gartner’s Magic Quadrant to identify and assess potential vendors and their capabilities
- Facilitated vendor demos and scoring by creating objective scorecards for scoring to select a vendor
Value Delivered/Outcomes
In one month, MMS:
Identified and recommended an ERP solution/ vendor to the client that met the most requirements of 15 potential vendors
- Documented all pre-production, production, quality control, shipping, and post shipping business processes and requirements in scope
- Selected ERP will replace and integrate multiple legacy applications and automate much of the client’s business processes
- ERP will replace multiple legacy applications
